Auto insurance in AZ for teachers

Are rates going up for the educators? Truth is most all rates will be going up somewhat and few will come down. The insurance industry has lost money in its investments the same as we individuals have lost in our variable investments. So–it takes more premium to make up for that loss. Also, most insurance companies use a credit scoring basis for rate determinations and with the loss of jobs and more and more traffic tickets, like AZ being big on photo radar, we will see our auto rates continue and upward cycle.

Annuities now more popular than the slow performing stock market

Fixed annuities are an excellent option right now due to the losses most all of us have sustained in our 401k and 403B plans. It has been suggested that long term stock plans may recover but for those of us who need to retire in the near 5-15 year term we need to look at these annuity plans. Some carriers will pay premium bonuses which vary.
